CLIENT: PILATES 804
It is almost insane how things work - one day you’re thinking about how much you want to take a pilates course and within a week, you have an email from Danica, owner and teacher trainer of Pilates 804. From the photoshoot to the web design process, this was a notorious project for Branded by Tylisia. And while there has been no enrollment in pilates, this sort of counts right???
Services: Brand Strategy, Brand Photography, Web Design
Danica was extremely vigilant on what she needed the most from this branding project - a logo for her new online training program, Somaphyx, and a revamped website. During our discovery call, it was apparent that the new logo needed to support the brick and mortar logo and the site needed a lot less color and text and alot more effect functionality. Here is the logo designed by my design partner, VMB Designs.
BRAND PHOTOGRAPHY
Since there was already an existing logo for the brick-and-mortar business, we got straight to work on other aspects of the project. However, all good websites have great visuals so we needed to capture those first.
Pilates is all about movement and I knew the images on the site needed to, well, move. I spent a few hours in the studio with some of her most talented practitioners. 90% of the time was spent capturing images but the remaining time was oohing and ahhing at the flexibility and pure talent of everyone. I mean, look for yourself.
WEB DESIGN
For web design, functionality and customer experience was the premise from everything. With several offerings and courses, it was very important that a potential customer would not be confused while trying to make a decision on what worked best for them. Visually, we wanted the color scheme to be worked through the web pages but create a cleaner, more minimal website. My favorite addition to the site is perhaps the GIFs on the home page. MOVEMENT!!
